Developed in Switzerland, for more than 25 years before bringing the product to the USA, Swisstrax leads the industry with our revolutionary line of modular flooring. Today, we proudly manufacture the Swiss engineered flooring in our Dalton, Georgia headquarters. Swisstrax flooring continues to offer the premier modular flooring solution for commercial, residential and industrial applications worldwide!
In 1998, Swisstrax sold their first tiles in the USA. The tiles were used for Grand-Am and Petit Le Mans series racing pits and hospitality areas.
Swisstrax Founder, Randy Nelson, trademarks the Swisstrax brands for USA and Canada. We opened our first 110 sq/ft office in Cathedral City, California, where we started selling Swisstrax tiles.
First production started in southern California to produce the signature Ribtrax Pro tile.
Swisstrax expands our product line to include Diamondtrax — a unique diamond plate, closed profile tile.
With its rapid growth, Swisstrax relocates office and production facility to larger commercial building in Indio, California.
Swisstrax starts to gain global recognition so we opened a secondary production facility in France to service the European market.
Swisstrax makes Inc. 5000 list of America's top private companies and gets acquired by The Recreational Group, a family of recreational flooring brands.
Domestic production of Swisstrax tiles moves to Dalton, Georgia and we unveil the new Swisstrax logo.
